Todd was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Todd completed his undergraduate degree here at the University of Calgary and his law degree from the University of Alberta.
Prior to joining Opus Legal LLP, Todd was a founding partner at Horne Wytrychowski, Airdrie’s largest law firm at the time of its creation. Todd has been a fundamental member of the creation of Opus Legal LLP.
In his free time, Todd enjoys his family, golf, wine, and the various business interests which he is involved. One such project is an ownership-stake in the acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, Trigo.

Jay was born in British Columbia and moved to Alberta in 1979. His previous experiences include law enforcement, private security, job site safety, and hotel and restaurant management. Jay specializes in all aspects of family law with an expertise in representing children’s interests in family law matters and child welfare matters since 1998. He has numerous courses on interviewing and representing children.
Jay enjoys physical activities of any kind, including as motorcycle trips and camping. He is a proud father to three daughters.

Having earned an LL.B from Tsinghua University in China and LL.M from Cornell University in the United States has equipped Yunfei with comprehensive knowledge of Chinese and American legal systems. After returning to Canada in 2021, she was awarded the Certificate of Qualifications (CQ) from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
Prior to articling at Opus Legal LLP, Yunfei worked as a contract coordinator for an oil and gas pipeline services company. Yunfei has local and international experience in Commercial and energy regulations.
During law school, Yunfei worked at a large global firm participated in M&A; negotiations and IPO launches on the Hong Kong Stock Market. She also clerked at Shanghai Pudong Court.
In her spare time, Yunfei enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations that provide assistance relating to criminal, traffic, and family matters to unrepresented and Indigenous communities.
Yunfei is fluent in English and Chinese will gladly serve you in these languages.

Amber Bishop holds a JD and MBA from the University of Calgary and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mount Royal University.
Throughout her education Amber promoted access to justice in the court systems through volunteer work and advocacy. She was volunteer of the year in 2019 for Pro Bono Students Canada and believes that creating access to justice and educating people on the legal system is one of primary ways we can create an equitable justice system.
Since graduating Amber has been called to the Alberta Bar in 2022, taught business law at the University of Calgary to both graduate and undergraduate students, and developed law courses for the Calgary Board of Education. She has appeared successfully at all levels of Alberta Courts and is experienced in many areas of civil litigation including employment and family law.
