Todd was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. Todd completed his undergraduate degree here at the University of Calgary and his law degree from the University of Alberta.
Prior to joining Opus Legal LLP, Todd was a founding partner at Horne Wytrychowski, Airdrie’s largest law firm at the time of its creation. Todd has been a fundamental member of the creation of Opus Legal LLP.
In his free time, Todd enjoys his family, golf, wine, and the various business interests which he is involved. One such project is an ownership-stake in the acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, Trigo.

Peter attended the University of Alberta and graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Arts in 2009. He went on to attend Law School at the University of Calgary and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2013. Peter was called to the Alberta Bar in 2014, and has practiced in Calgary, Airdrie, and Edmonton since that time. He continues to serve clients across Alberta in various areas of law including Family Law, Wills and Estates, Corporate Commercial, Real Estate and Civil litigation matters.
As an Articling Student and Associate, Peter worked closely with many of our team while in Airdrie, Alberta. Peter then returned to Edmonton in 2019 with his family, where he continues to practice. Peter is proud to be part of the Opus Legal team and to practice with trusted colleagues and friends.
Peter is attuned to the emotional and financial stresses that may accompany some aspects of various legal matters. He wants to ensure that clients understand the legal process and all available options for conflict resolution.
Although he has extensive Courtroom experience, Peter believes in utilizing all methods of dispute resolution to best serve the needs of his clients. These include Mediation, Arbitration, Parenting Coordination, collaborative solutions, and Judicial Dispute Resolution.
Peter has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and well as the Court of Appeal of Alberta dealing with various legal matters.

Having earned an LL.B from Tsinghua University in China and LL.M from Cornell University in the United States has equipped Yunfei with comprehensive knowledge of Chinese and American legal systems. After returning to Canada in 2021, she was awarded the Certificate of Qualifications (CQ) from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
Prior to articling at Opus Legal LLP, Yunfei worked as a contract coordinator for an oil and gas pipeline services company. Yunfei has local and international experience in Commercial and energy regulations.
During law school, Yunfei worked at a large global firm participated in M&A; negotiations and IPO launches on the Hong Kong Stock Market. She also clerked at Shanghai Pudong Court.
In her spare time, Yunfei enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations that provide assistance relating to criminal, traffic, and family matters to unrepresented and Indigenous communities.
Yunfei is fluent in English and Chinese will gladly serve you in these languages.
